NeighborImpact's Food Recovery & Assistance Program
NeighborImpact is the Regional Food Bank for Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson counties, and is a member of the Oregon Food Bank Network. NeighborImpact receives food from Oregon Food Bank, as well as through local donations such as food drives and our Food Recovery Program. NeighborImpact distributes food through a network of 37 local agencies that provide emergency food boxes, meals and supplemental groceries in communities throughout Central Oregon.

•In 2007 NeighborImpact's Food Bank distributed over 1.4 Million pounds of food to its network of local agencies • Each month in Central Oregon over 7,800 people rely upon emergency food boxes for some of their food needs • 40% of the people who depend upon emergency food boxes are children under the age of 18
